Description
9 Months Post-Op | 63-Year-Old Female
This 63-year-old patient is shown nine months after an extended preservation deep plane facelift and neck lift with submandibular gland reduction, an endoscopic brow lift, full-face fat grafting, and correction of a ptotic (“witch’s”) chin. Following significant weight loss, she developed substantial skin laxity and facial volume loss. Her submandibular glands were also markedly ptotic, projecting below the jawline beyond what even a strong platysma suspension alone could fully camouflage. Conservative gland reduction allowed a more complete and refined neck contour. Deep-plane elevation restores the cheeks and jowls, while limited skin undermining preserves more native skin attachments and reduces reliance on skin tension. Facial fat grafting and chin correction complete the restoration of balanced, natural facial proportions.
