Description
6 Months Post-Op | 53-Year-Old Female
This 53-year-old patient is shown six months after an extended preservation deep plane facelift and neck lift with submandibular gland reduction, an endoscopic brow lift, facial fat grafting, and buccal fat reduction. Following significant weight loss, she developed increased laxity through the face and neck. Her submandibular glands were markedly ptotic and extended below the jawline beyond what platysma suspension alone could fully correct; conservative gland reduction allowed a more complete, controlled neck contour. The preservation deep-plane approach restores the cheeks and jowls at the structural level while limiting skin delamination, allowing the skin to settle smoothly over the repositioned tissues. Her result is a crisp jawline and neck with balanced, natural facial contours.
